課程概述

This course is intended to provide an overview of some reactions commonly employed in synthetic organic chemistry, with an emphasis on carbon-carbon bond forming reactions. Issues related to chemo-, regio-, and stereoselectivity are central to developing synthetic strategies and will be highlighted throughout the course.

This is 4-credit course aimed for students in the M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs in the organic division of the Department of Chemistry. 

課程目標
 This course will cover Chapters 1–6, 9, and 12 from Carey and Sundberg Part B. Additional topics in the literature will supplement the lecture material of this course.
